ASSEMBLER

Position as an "entry-level" AI Technician.
Important: technically oriented, hands-on mentality.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Assembling products in accordance with work instructions and technical manuals, within the agreed project schedule.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs assembly (drilling and placing blind rivets) and technical tasks for products and test configurations.
• Contributes to the development of (alternative) solutions and supports their implementation.
• Provides input for handling integration procedures (HIP).
• Provides input for the development of necessary integration tools.
• Supports, when needed, product support on-site at the customer's location.
• Assists in preparing products for shipment.

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION

Internal:

• Works with colleagues (both AIT and Logistics) to coordinate tasks.

External:

• Not applicable.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• (Pre-)vocational education (VMBO/MBO).
• Good command of the English language.

Het samenbouwen van producten conform de werkinstructies en technische handboeken, binnen de afgesproken projectplanning.
FUNCTIE-INHOUD OP HOOFDLIJNEN
- Voert de samenbouw (door middel van boren en het plaatsen van treknagels) en technische werkzaamheden uit van producten en testconfiguraties.
- Denkt mee in het ontwikkelen van (alternatieve) oplossingen. Ondersteund in de uitvoering daarvan.
- Levert input voor de handling integration procedures (HIP).
- Levert input ten behoeve van de ontwikkeling van de benodigde integratie hulpgereedschappen.
- Ondersteund, indien nodig, product support op locatie bij de klant.
- Ondersteund bij het verzendklaar maken van producten.
COMMUNICATIE INTERN EN EXTERN
Intern:
- Met collega's (zowel AIT als Logistiek) om werk af te stemmen.
Extern:
- Niet van toepassing.

- Goede beheersing Engelse taal

Beoordelingscriteria

• Minimum (V)MBO degree preferred, gerichte relevante opleiding gewenst, not required if sufficient experience
• Sufficient in English language, Dutch preferred
• Experience in assembling precision mechanical components and working according to technical manuals.
• Accuracy and the ability to strictly follow procedures, which is crucial in the aerospace industry.
• Experience in Aerospace industry
• Experience with composite materials.
