What to Expect from the Role

Your primary task will be assembling and integrating high-tech aerospace products, such as solar arrays for space missions.

• You will follow work instructions and technical manuals carefully.
• You may also perform verification and acceptance tests to ensure proper integration and document the results.
• You will contribute to the development of solutions and create test objects.
• You will develop and manufacture the necessary integration tools.

What You Bring

• Preferably experience in assembling precision mechanical components or working in a similar industry.
• Preferably, experience working in clean rooms.
• Preferably affinity for aerospace.
• The ability to work meticulously and follow procedures, which is crucial in the aerospace industry.
• An MBO(+) degree (preferably from the Leiden Instrument Makers School (LIS), which is a small plus).
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel for work in the future (ranging from a few days to several weeks).

Wat je van de functie kunt verwachten:

• Je hoofdtaak is het assembleren en integreren van hightech ruimtevaart producten, zoals solar arrays voor ruimtevaart missies
• Dit doe je aan de hand van de werkinstructies en technische handboeken, welke je nauwkeurig volgt.
• Eventueel voer je verificatie en acceptance testen uit ter controle van je werkzaamheden en de juiste integratie. Hiervoor maak je ook de documentatie.
• Je denkt mee in het ontwikkelen van oplossingen en stelt hiervoor testobjecten samen.
• Je ontwikkelt en maakt benodigde integratie hulpgereedschappen

Wat breng jij mee:

• Assemblage ervaring met fijnmechanische componenten / industrie.
• Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring in clean rooms.
• Affiniteit met de ruimtevaart
• Kan nauwgezet werken en procedures volgen, wat erg belangrijk is in de ruimtevaart.
• Een MBO+ opleiding (bij voorkeur de LIS) (Leidse Instrumentmakers school (LIS) is een pre
• Beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift
• Je bent naar de toekomst toe bereidt om op dienstreizen te gaan (variërend van enkele dagen tot meerdere weken)

• MBO+ opleiding LIS (Leidse Instrumentmakers school (LIS))
• Multiple years assembly experience with fine mechanical components / industry.
• Preferably experience with clean rooms
• Affinity with aerospace sector
• Sufficient in both Dutch & English language in speech and written
• You are prepared to go on business trips in the future (ranging from a few days to several weeks).
• Soft skills, these can be tested during the interview:
