Account Manager - ITDS

As anAccount Manager ITDS, you will play a crucial role in our Business Development team, ensuring the long-term growth and success of ITDS through strategic customer engagement and innovative solutions.

In this dynamic role, you will be connecting our services to our business colleagues' needs. Your journey begins with managing pre-sales, sales, and after-sales activities, ensuring that our business colleagues receive unparalleled service and support. You will be the first point of contact for all ITDS-related inquiries, fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks designed to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Relationship Management: You will be the trusted advisor for our business colleagues, enhancing customer and stakeholder relationships, and managing escalations with finesse. Your goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales (Pipeline) Management: Your strategic mind will oversee promotional and selling activities, manage business opportunities, and create compelling proposals. You will negotiate deals and manage bids and pitching, always aiming to exceed our colleagues 'expectations.
  • Business Development: Engage in strategic discussions with business partners and customers. Utilize your business knowledge and market data to develop innovative solutions that drive performance and align with our company's strategic goals.
  • Growth opportunities: Actively seek new business opportunities, prospect potential projects, and expand our stakeholder's portfolio.
  • Stakeholder Management:Collect and use feedback from customers and stakeholders to measure and enhance the effectiveness of our services. Implement communication strategies that handle complaints, resolve issues, and disseminate relevant information effectively.
Do you have what it takes?

To excel in this role, you will need a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal attributes. Here's what you will bring to our team:

  • Educational Background: A university degree (International Business / Business Development) or equivalent experience, with a solid knowledge and understanding of DHL group.
  • Experience: Typically, 5 years of work experience and familiar with a cost-neutral model. Experience in pricing services and managing complex business solutions is essential.Experience within ITDS is a huge bonus!
  • Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and a strong understanding of finance, marketing, and sales. Excellent English communication skills are a must, with German being an advantage.
