As a Technology Strategy & Transformation (Senior) Manager in PwC's Financial Services practice you bridge business ambition, technology execution and data-driven operating models. You lead multidisciplinary teams through cloud, core-system, modern data-platform and IT-operating-model programmes for Dutch banks, insurers, pension providers and fintechs. From shaping a board-level vision and investment case to governing agile delivery, you orchestrate every stage of the transformation-ensuring robust architectures, future-proof operating models and measurable value.
What will you be doing?
Projects range from a few months to two years and include:
- Conceptual thinking from strategy to execution;
- Solving technology architecture challenges of banks, insurers and pension providers, e.g., legacy modernisation, data architecture;
- Developing digital product delivery models and IT operating models;
- Addressing technology cost challenges;
- Addressing the impact of (Financial Services) regulations on technology;
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, guiding teams to deliver complex client initiatives on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Does this describe you?
- You hold a master's degree in a STEM field, equipping you with strong analytical skills;
- You have 7 to 12 years of experience in leading technology, data platform or IT operating model initiatives of which at least 5 years within a high-end consultancy firm;
- You have guided complex programs using Agile methodologies and you excel at translating business drivers and objectives into robust architectures and practical roadmaps;
- Your insight into architecture enables you to assess the client's landscape and design future proof solutions with emerging technologies for leading financial sector organisations;
- You stay up to date with market and regulatory trends and challenge established practices to develop innovative client focused offerings;
- You excel as a people leader and have extensive experience in coaching teams, fostering collaboration and building relationships from the board level to operational teams;
- You cultivate an extensive professional network, act with integrity at every turn and champion both your own growth and that of your colleagues;
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
