The transition to sustainable energy isn't a matter of wanting to, it's a matter of necessity. For all of us. Fortunately, this company is already putting all its energy into it. They could use some help!
Tell me more...
As one of the largest players in the energy market, this company is committed to giving as many people as possible access to affordable, safe, and clean energy. Whether it's renewable energy, sustainable fuels, natural gas, or electricity, they're continuously pushing forward. With years of experience in North Sea gas production and new projects on the horizon, there's a strong need for skilled professionals to keep everything running smoothly. This is where you come in!
Interesting! What will I be doing?
You'll switch effortlessly between onshore and offshore work. Onshore, you'll be in the Central Control Room: monitoring and operating all production platforms, identifying and resolving technical disturbances remotely, and managing gas sales to ensure deliveries match the contracts. You'll also prepare planned interventions and keep the overall overview.
Offshore, you'll take the lead. You'll direct the Flying Squad and lead interventions during maintenance or disruptions. You'll ensure safe operations, oversee environmental requirements, validate Permits to Work, and maintain continuous contact with the Central Control Room and the onshore organization. In the event of incidents, you'll coordinate actions in collaboration with the onshore emergency team.
I want this! But can I do it?
You hold an MBO-4 diploma in process engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, or a VAPRO C qualification. With at least 6 years of industry experience, including time in a responsible role, you know offshore operations inside out. You're social and direct with your team, step into leadership naturally, and stay calm under pressure, even in day and night shifts. You work flexibly and independently, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly. You have a good command of English; Dutch is a strong plus.
No visa sponsorship is available for this position. It's also important that you live within one hour's travel of Den Helder.
I can indeed, but does it pay well?
You'll work on- and offshore in day and night shifts and can count on a market-conform annual salary up to €90,000, plus attractive secondary benefits. You'll contribute directly to the energy transition within the activities of an international energy major. Ready for the next step? Apply now-we'll speak to you soon!
