Junior maintenance and service technician

Roosendaal boasts a new PRIMARK® distribution center, spanning over 30,000 m². This distribution center supplies France, Spain, and Italy with trendy clothing. In 2020, SSI SCHAEFER built the complete logistics facility within the DC and maintains equipment including Automated Guided Vehicles, automated cranes, a monorail system, and pallet conveyor systems. Working here means you'll be working with state-of-the-art technology, using your own tools (cart), laptop, and phone. You'll also have access to a fully equipped workshop and delicious coffee.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A JUNIOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN?
As a junior maintenance technician, you'll be part of our service team for PRIMARK® in Roosendaal. You'll follow a comprehensive on-site training program covering the maintenance of various technical installations, including 20-meter-high automated cranes, pallet transport systems, a monorail system, and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
You'll respond to malfunctions and coordinate maintenance with our logistics partner, GXO. Together with your colleagues, you'll plan and execute the work. You'll collaborate closely with your teammates and are adept at coordinating, but you'll also carry out tasks completely independently. In short: a challenging role where you'll work with innovative technology daily, offering the opportunity to learn quickly and effectively. Just like other PRIMARK employees, you'll also be responsible for maintenance on the SSI-SCHAEFER system at KLM. This means you'll travel to KLM (Amsterdam area) a few days a month.

Voor jou

• A (permanent) position at SSI SCHAEFER
• Starting salary € 2,955 gross per month (excluding allowances) for 40 hours, you can grow in position and salary up to and including scale J of the Metalektro Collective Labor Agreement
• Surcharge of 16% on your salary in connection with the shift system and an attractive bonus scheme
• Travel allowance €0.23 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way)
• Conditions in accordance with the Metal and Electrical Industry Collective Labor Agreement (27 vacation days, PME pension and a training day)
• An extensive induction program, where you can follow training courses on the job
• All necessary safety training to perform your work safely

• You would like to work in a technical environment and learn the trade of mechanic.
• You are willing to follow a technical training at MBO-3 level, BBL training is negotiable
