As a Solution Consultant, you are the key to optimizing and future-proofing the XBS platform - an essential application within our European shipping domain. Your focus is on stability and scalability, ensuring the platform can seamlessly grow with increasing volumes and changing business needs.

You translate business requirements into smart IT solutions. You write user stories, advise on priorities, and prepare functional specifications. You collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and external IT partners to turn strategy into tangible results. In this dynamic environment, you keep an overview, set the right priorities, and ensure the quality of requirements. As a medior consultant, you play a vital role in ensuring smooth development, testing, and implementation processes.

Jouw collega's

You will work in the XBS team, part of Spring Europe. The team consists of 6 colleagues with a mix of junior, medior, and senior profiles, including product owners, platform owners, and IT specialists. The team works within a Kanban structure and at a fast pace. Collaboration is hands-on, professional, and focused on continuous improvement. You will also engage frequently with business stakeholders and external IT partners. Our culture is open, dynamic, and forward-looking.

• A salary between €4,521.29 and €6,402.21 gross per month (scale 11), depending on education and experience, based on a 37-hour work week.
• Flexibility to work hybrid and plan your hours. Work two or more days from home per week? You'll receive a €45 net monthly allowance.
• 8% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days (based on full-time).
• Commuting allowance for travel to and from work.
• A solid pension scheme via the PostNL pension fund.

You are a structured, solution-driven IT professional who can easily switch between business and technology. You prioritize effectively, stay calm under pressure, and keep the overview.

Additionally, you have:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as IT or Business.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, such as solution consultant or business analyst.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, API integrations, and data flows.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and with writing documentation or solution diagrams.
• Experience with AWS or other high-code platforms (a plus).
• Availability for 37 hours per week and willingness to join an on-call rotation during peak holiday periods (SKNJ).
