Introduction
The purpose of this Follow up Request for Proposal is to provide information to market parties to enable them to submit a tender for the contract as further set out in this Follow-Up Request for Proposal, which has been issued in within the Dynamic Procurement 'Staffing and consultancy services' (hereinafter DPS) of Eindhoven University of Technology (hereinafter TU/e or the Client).
By registering for the DPS, you have shown an interest in Follow-Up Contracts for delivery of 'Staffing and consultancy services' within the TU/e. The current Follow-Up Contract falls within cluster Human resource management and general, which is the reason you have received an invitation to tender.
The Follow-Up Request for Proposal aims to provide insight into the minimum requirements for the performance of the Follow-Up Contract and the planning and procedure for the course of the Follow-Up Tendering Procedure.
As well as the conditions in this Follow-Up Request for Proposal, the conditions you, as Candidate, have accepted in the Initial Phase (guideline and Agreements) apply.
Reason and objective of the contract
The TU/e places personal and career development (wellbeing, productivity, and job satisfaction), team development, leadership, conflict mediation high on the agenda. The HRM department of the TU/e wants to appoint a number of permanent external coaches (preferred suppliers) for these areas of attention in order to be able to advise and support managers and employees more efficiently in organizational, team, and personal development. In order to work efficiently, the HR department of the TU/e wants to bind a number of permanent external coaches to them, to be used (ad hoc) to promote the personal development of employees. In case of requests from the organization, the service providers appointed by HR can be directly put forward and deployed.
We are looking for coaches in the areas of
- Career Development
- Personal Development (including the sub-category: Giftedness Coaches)
- Leadership Development (including the expertise areas of executive coaching and female leadership coaching)
- Wellbeing (including the sub-categories: Health & Burnout, Neurodiversity, and Grief & Loss)
- Team Development and Team Effectiveness (including a sub-categories: Leadership teams, Social Safety in Teams)
- Conflict Coaching & Mediation
We are looking for specialists for each of these domains. If you are a specialist in several themes, please let us know in which themes you can be deployed. The coaches can be deployed preventively and curatively by e.g., managers, HR-advisors and confidential counsellors.
In general, the purpose of coaching is to contribute to the realization of organizational objectives, including
- Creating a learning culture, supported by personal development, career development, employability, and facilitating lifelong learning;
- Creating a culture where people reach their potential, measured in increased job satisfaction, candidate attraction and retention;
- Creating a culture of wellbeing of employees, measured in rates of preventing and speeding up the recovery of absenteeism, burnout and unwanted attrition;
- Improving performance/ functioning at work so our ;
- Supporting employees with specific needs and/or work-related challenges;
- Learning skills to navigate change;
- Encouraging reflection and behavioral change that promotes postive stages of adult development;
- Promoting (personal) leadership on different organizational levels;
- Supporting team development, team effectiveness (e.g. Alignment, decision making, purpose) and a safe social environment (e.g. Conflict skills and communication agreements);
- Guiding preventive and curative dialogues regarding social safety issues within teams;
Key activities and profile of the coach
Key activities
The coach has the following main tasks:
- Awareness of limiting beliefs and ineffective behavior;
- Stress & emotion regulation / helping to deal with emotions;
- Teaching skills;
- Optional: advising, knowledge transfer, and training on the specialty.
Profile of the coach
- The coaches in general bring the following to the table:
- At least a diploma at HBO level;
- A certified coach training, training as a career professional or other specialist coach-related training and certification;
- Minimum of 100 coaching client hours in the field of coaching of which at least 40 hours in the designated specialization. Coach has clear specialization in and expertise in coaching in the area(s) of interest indicated, as evidenced by professional coach training, certification and officially logged hours;
- Coach is a member of a professional association for professional coaches, career professionals, psychologists: NOLOC, NIP A&O section, NOBCO, ICF, STIR or at a professional association for therapists with affiliation to RBCZ or mediator with affiliation to NMv; coach adheres to all ethical guidelines and has not had any censures by coaching bodies and their license is current;
- Ability to coach based on assessments from Hexaco personality assessments, anonymous 360 team and leadership feedback (such as LCP, Lencioni), psychological safety assessments (such as Fearless Organization); prefer certification in debriefing assessments relevant to the coaching specialization (n.b. We only use scientifically validated assessments, no MBTI for example)
- A demonstratable track record of effectiveness, e.g. Of reaching client goals in visible and measurable outcomes, demonstration and application of coaching competencies;
- Coaches can demonstrate that they are working on their own professionalization, for example, through refresher courses and/or intervision/supervision;
- When selecting external coaches, we pay attention to a diverse composition. This is to be able to offer employees a varied selection;
- Experience in the field of coaching in higher education/universities is a plus;
- Prefer coaches/mediators can be deployed at individual and team/department level;
- We are looking for a number of coaches per specialism who can coach fluently in Dutch and a number of coaches who can coach fluently in English (preferably mother tongue);
- Preferably, coaches offer both digital and physical coaching;
- Candidates are not students or employees at the TU/e;
- The Tenderer is permitted to offer several candidates for this tender.
