You work closely with your team to ensure smooth, energetic service – from set-up through to last call. You bring the rhythm to the room and keep the bar flowing.
Responsibilities

Be thoroughly familiar with the cocktail, spirits, beer and wine menus – including ingredients, origins, and pairings.

Provide exceptional service at the bar and tables, maintaining attentiveness and precision.

Offer personalized drink recommendations and upsell premium options where possible.

Serve beverages to guests, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and presentation.

Engage with guests warmly, creating a lively and inviting bar atmosphere.

Maintain cleanliness and order in the bar and surrounding seating areas at all times.

Set up, stock, and maintain bar stations, including glassware, garnishes, tools, and condiments.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.

Handle payments accurately and close guest tabs via the POS system.

Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.

Uphold hygiene, safety, and alcohol service standards at all times.

What You’ll Need:

Strong beverage knowledge – from spirits and cocktails to wines and beers, or eager to learn.

Fluency in English; Dutch and other languages are a plus.

Presentable appearance and engaging personality.

High level of responsibility and service orientation.

Flexible and proactive mindset, ready to handle busy nights and unexpected rushes.

Familiarity with Micros (POS) system.

Comfortable with rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in a bar, lounge, or high-end service setting.

MBO+ working and thinking level.

Must meet legal age for alcohol service.
