THE POSITION
Are you an early bird, who is passionate about preparing delicious breakfasts that leave guests smiling? Our hotel in Almere, with 160 modern rooms is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for enthusiastic team players who thrive in fast-paced environments. As part of our Kitchen team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service in various settings, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in our restaurant.
Your role will be preparing breakfast. Beyond your daily tasks, we welcome your ideas and input to enhance our service and guest experience. If you are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working with local suppliers, we’d love to have you on our team!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes according to the menu and Brand Standards.
Prepare group lunches & dinners, and staff meals.
Ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to a high standard.
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.
Ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING?
MBO/HBO or equivalent level of education.
At least 1-2 years of experience within a similar role; experience in Holiday Inn Express hotels is an advantage.
Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of breakfast dishes and cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
