Maintenance Trainee - Sep 25

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Maintenance Trainee. This role is perfect for someone with an affinity for electronics, plumbing, and general maintenance, eager to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Maintenance Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting with various maintenance tasks, learning about our advanced UNIFOCUS app, and providing excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Tasks:

• Assist with general maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Learn to perform routine maintenance on hotel facilities and equipment.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of air conditioning units and filters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor maintenance issues.
• Guest Service:
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Use our advanced UNIFOCUS app to manage guest queries and complaints efficiently.
• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• Training and Development:
• Actively participate in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge.
• Seek guidance from experienced maintenance staff to learn best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance principles.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment.
• Ability to learn new skills and techniques quickly.
• Soft Skills:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Technical or vocational training in a relevant field (preferred).
