As Head of Sportsbook – iGaming, you will act as the (wo)man in charge of our Sportsbook vertical, owning the full commercial and product strategy across online and retail channels. You’ll be responsible for driving trading performance, product innovation, customer experience, and revenue growth. With full autonomy and accountability, this role is pivotal to achieving our ambition to become the leading sportsbook in the Dutch market.

You will oversee all strategic and operational aspects of the Sportsbook – from pricing and risk to user experience, content, and product development. You will lead a strong team and work cross-functionally to deliver on growth targets and long-term customer value.

- Strategic Ownership: Define and execute the sportsbook’s commercial and product strategy in close collaboration with the Managing Director.
- Trading & Risk: Lead trading strategy, pricing, margin management, and real-time risk assessment to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Product Leadership: Own the sportsbook roadmap, including frontend, markets, and integrations that enhance user experience and market share.
- Proposition Development: Deliver a compelling and responsible betting proposition — balancing odds, features, content, and storytelling.
- Performance Management: Monitor and optimize KPIs (e.g. Turnover, margin, ARPU, actives, LTV), with full P&L accountability.
- Content & Lobby Management: Ensure relevant, dynamic content presentation and intuitive lobby experiences across all platforms.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Data, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Service to deliver a consistent and effective customer journey.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a team of 15 professionals, cultivating a high-performance, collaborative environment.
- Responsible Gaming & Compliance: Actively engage with compliance and RG teams to ensure adherence to local regulations and responsible betting standards.
- Innovation & Growth: Continuously identify market opportunities — including live betting, product expansion, and channel optimisation — to drive sustainable growth in a mature market.
And you'll probably want to know this too: as Head of Sportsbook, you'll lead the team responsible for setting up bets, managing risk and tracking sports trends to maximize opportunities for clients. You are able to recognize and develop unique talents of team members. You also guide your team members in their personal and professional growth. You will report to the Managing Director iGaming.

- 5–8+ years in senior sportsbook leadership roles within iGaming or betting environments.
- Strong track record in trading, odds setting, risk management, and operational sportsbook management.
- Proven ability to define vision and adapt strategy based on customer behaviour and market trends.
- Comfortable owning a large P&L and accountable for both growth and margin.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong forecasting skills.
- Skilled in leading diverse teams and fostering high performance.
- Fluent in English en Dutch is a plus
In your capacity as Head of Sportsbook we offer you:
- salary between €6.900,- and €10.300,- gross per month, depending on your experience
- a full-time position
- a bonus scheme.
