De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But de Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.

We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to make sure all of our guests leave with a bright smile.

● You are not afraid to make bold choices in order to ensure guests have truly amazing experiences. Making the right decision on the spot comes naturally to you.
● You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
What will you be doing?
● Preparing dishes for the restaurant and meetings & events.
● Performing preparatory tasks for all dishes.
● Contributing to the innovation of dishes and menus with proactive ideas.
● Assessing the quality and shelf life of ingredients and ensuring the quality of outgoing dishes.
● Receiving, inspecting, and storing ordered food supplies.
● Keeping the work area clean.
Small print:
● You have 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role. You’ll be on top of our list if you gained this experience at a 4/5-star hotel.
● Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
● You speak English fluently.
● You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague.
