Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through cold colling, database management, client visits (both local and international), and other lead-generation activities.
- Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction through regular business reviews, effective communication, and contract management.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations on corporate room rates, meeting packages, and group contracts to maximize profitability and client retention.
- Cross Department Collaboration: Work closely with key hotel departments including Front Office, Marketing, and Meetings & Events to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Networking & Representation: Represent the hotels at key industry events, trade shows, and client networking events to build relationships and grow brand visibility.
- Reporting & CRM management: Conduct market research, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, provide regular performance updates and sales reports.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- A proven track record in sales, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Fluency in English (proficiency in Dutch is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opera is an advantage.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel as required.
- A flexible and committed mindset, with a proactive attitude and the willingness to go beyond standard working hours to meet client needs and drive results.
