Orderpicker

GXO Ikea is looking for a fulltime orderpicker and packer. In this position you will be working on a full time basis in the logistic operation for the dedicated client of GXO, Ikea. The warehouse is located nearby the A27/A59 (Breda, Oosterhout). Wat ga je doen?

GXO Ikea is looking for a fulltime orderpicker and packer. In this position you will be working on a full time basis in the logistic operation for the dedicated client of GXO, Ikea. The warehouse is located nearby the A27/A59 (Breda, Oosterhout, Tilburg, Waalwijk, Roosendaal). As a orderpicker you will pick the orders. When you will be working as a packer you will work with the computer and double check if all the articles are present. Then you will make sure the order will be packed as a gift, so it will be send to the customer in the right way. 

Waar ga je werken?

GXO is a global supply chain organization. In the Netherlands they have different warehouses. At the location Oosterhout it is a single-client operation, for Ikea. Everything you can find in the Ikea stores as a customer, has been in the warehouse located in Oosterhout. There are working around the 700 employees in a three shift operation from monday till saturday. The atmosphere is still nice. On your onboarding you will be guided by Olympia (Thom, Julia, Tess, Joelle or Romy) and the GXO trainer. We are the go to person if you have any questions, or just want to make a chat. Always feel welcome! 

At the warehouse there is a canteen during working hours with fresh food for a good/fair price. In the evening and night shift you can bring your own food or buy something out of the vending machine. You can heat up your meal via the microwave available at GXO. Also there is a good outdoor space where you can smoke. 

Wie ben je?

If you want to start as an orderpicker and/or packer: 

• Min. 32 hours per week available (parttime), but if possible fulltime; 
• You will work on the Saturday. In the week of the nightshift, you will have a day off at Saturday; 
• When it is busy, you will be able to work 6 days (if possible); 
• You speak the English language; 
• Experience as an orderpicker is not necessary, you will get a buddy who will learn you everything you need to know :)! If you have experience, that is a plus. 

Wat mag je verwachten?

We offer you as orderpicker and/or packer the following conditions: 

• You will work min 32 hours but most of the time it is a full-time position as orderpicker; 
• Working in 3-shifts with a good shift allowance in all shifts (13,75%). The salary is 14,40 + 13,75% shift allowance, so in total 16,38 euro per hour; 
• Travel allowance up till 11,50 euro per day; 
• Additional conditions such as a GXO contract when you are performing well (vaste aanstelling), paid holiday hours, holiday allowance, working in the same team every week;
• You can start on short term notice!
