What will you be doing as a Chef de Partie?
As a Chef de Partie, your role involves overseeing smooth operations in one of our two restaurants-Jansz. Jansz. Is an elegant all-day dining restaurant, open from noon, with both lunch and dinner menus and beautifully composed dishes inspired by contemporary Dutch cuisine where the passion for locally sourced ingredients is central.
Prepare and produce high-quality culinary dishes that mainly consist of fresh ingredients. Organise and lead your team, including training and coaching the Demi Chef's de Partie. In addition to running your own Partie, the Chef de Partie can also jump in where needed, prioritising tasks that are most urgent to ensure an efficient service. Within this position, guest satisfaction is your goal and the goal of the team, together with the Kitchen Operation Chef and the Executive Chef. Meanwhile, monitoring the responsible use of products and ingredients, as well as kitchen hygiene standards (HACCP), are a key function to this role. Within this position you will lead by example and show a professional attitude while motivating your team to achieve their strongest potential.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing mise-en-place
- Preparing dishes during service
- Coordinating with the team for seamless service
- Training and supporting kitchen staff
- Assisting in developing new menus of the restaurants
