For a strategic client in the Netherlands, we are seeking a skilled Flange Management Inspector to oversee the integrity and compliance of flanged connections within critical piping systems.
This role is pivotal in ensuring leak-free operations and maintaining the highest safety standards in our projects across the Netherlands.
As a Flange Management Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection, documentation, and verification of flanged joints, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.
Your expertise will contribute to the prevention of leaks and the assurance of system integrity during construction, maintenance, and turnaround activities.
Tasks
Conduct thorough inspections of flange surfaces, gaskets, bolts, and nuts to assess condition and compliance.
Verify correct material identification for flanges, gaskets, and bolting components.
Ensure proper assembly and tightening of bolted joints, adhering to specified torque values and patterns.
Maintain and update flange management documentation, including inspection reports and torque records.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to address and resolve flange-related issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, such as ASME PCC-1 and EN 15914.
Participate in the development and implementation of flange management procedures and best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience in flange management within the Oil & Energy industry.
In-depth knowledge of flange types, gasket materials, and bolting techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines related to flange assembly and inspection.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Availability for on-site work in the Netherlands.
