At DHL eCommerce Netherlands, our core mission is to deliver something beautiful from point A to point B, and as a fulltime Logistics Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in achieving this. You'll ensure smooth daily operations, guiding and coaching Team Leaders across three shifts: 07.00 - 15.30, 15.00 - 23.30, and 23.00 - 07.30. With your keen eye for process optimization and your ability to handle ad hoc situations, you'll oversee a team of over 350 colleagues, contributing to the seamless sorting of up to half a million packages each day.
Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining an overview of the entire process, identifying bottlenecks for further optimization.
- Developing sustainable solutions for workflow congestion.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for suppliers and customers.
- Conducting regular coaching and development discussions to support your colleagues' ongoing growth.
Based at Heksekamp 29 in Zaltbommel, conveniently located near Tiel, Oss, and 's Hertogenbosch, you'll join forces with our warehouse manager and a team of approximately 350 warehouse employees. Here, we process up to half a million packages daily, sorted for distribution across 240 locations. You bring to the table:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education and thinking.
- Several years of managerial experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Dutch and/or English.
- A salary ranging between € 3,000 and € 4,240 gross for 40 hours, based on your expertise and experience.
