We are looking for an energetic Runner to join our team. As a Runner, you play a big role in the delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables rapidly and accurately.
Are you the energetic Runner looking for a challenging job opportunity in a brand new restaurant? In this role, you will be a part of the team of Selva, a new restaurant on the 24th floor of nhow Amsterdam, a rooftop restaurant with 150 seats overlooking the city of Amsterdam. Together with the Restaurant Manager and the restaurant team, and complemented by the amazing views, you will create the nhow experiences our guests hope for.
What are you going to do?
At Selva, we will literally lift our guests; we will bring them to a higher place to escape the busy streets of Amsterdam and let them emerge in a colourful and lush environment. Therefore, it is important that our waiting brigade facilitates a place for them to connect and interact with others whilst enjoying food, drinks, and views that stimulate their taste buds, eyes, and ears. In short: we offer a place where they will leave with only one wish. The desire to come back soon!
You will also be responsible for:
Assuring guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food.
Ensuring guests have proper silverware and napkins when delivering food.
Keeping kitchen station clean and organized.
Assisting all waiters, bartenders, and managers with the carrying of plates.
Communicate effectively and courteously with guests and co-workers.
Apply nhow if you meet the following requirements:
