Houseman / Public Area Cleaner @ Via Amsterdam
Via Amsterdam is looking for a Houseman / Public Area Cleaner to join our young and energetic team. We always want to give our guest a great experience. Cleanliness is one of the highest importance. Together with the rest of the Housekeeping team you are responsible of the cleanliness of the common areas. You strive all together to make sure the hostel is absolutely SPOTLESS!
A workday includes:
Morning and/or evening duties.
Daily cleaning of public areas.
Linen management, ensuring all floors are stocked with sufficient linen and other supplies.
Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests from the operational departments.
Cleaning of outside areas which are property of Via, e.g. The front and back terrace, entrance, and parking lot.
Periodical (weekly, monthly or quarterly) cleaning tasks such as watering the plants, dusting high surfaces, inside window cleaning, turning of mattresses etc.
You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
You have a flexible work attitude.
You are helpful and a team player.
You enjoy supporting other team members and you help wherever they need.
You are an independent and hard worker with eye for detail.
You are available mornings, evenings, both during the week as well as in the weekend.
Basic English is a requirement. It is not necessary to speak Dutch
