Are you a Demi-Chef-de-Partie who has a passion for food and who enjoys the vibrant atmospheres of nhow Amsterdam RAI, 'the cultures hub'?

nhow Amsterdam RAI is a new social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

Nhow Amsterdam RAI is a hotel with 650 rooms, with a very dynamic kitchen operation ranging from a busy breakfast buffet, serving up to 700 covers, the banqueting operation with 10 meeting rooms, the Moana bar, and the room service. Your workplace will be the main kitchen of the hotel that is located on the 17th floor and that makes it one of the highest located professional kitchens in Amsterdam.

 

What are you going to do?

As one of the chefs on duty, you will be working the evening shifts, from 15.00 – 23.30 and making food for the Moana bar, staff canteen, and the room service. You are expected to prepare dishes according to nhow recipes and occasionally according to your own recipes. You prepare dishes by means of à la minute cooking methods and according to our standards regarding ingredients, recipes, working methods, and presentation. In addition, you are responsible for planning your daily activities and ordering ingredients and other stock replenishments. You monitor compliance with health & safety regulations and are responsible for cleaning your own workstation. This position offers stability, routines, and moderate amount of pressure.
