Your New Challenge: Content Publishing Team Lead | Amsterdam

Are you ready to lead a talented Content Publishing Team at a Global B2C Tech Giant in Amsterdam? We're looking for a dynamic, people-focused leader who thrives in a highly international environment.

In this role, you'll split your focus 50/50 between people management and planning. You'll guide, support, and inspire your team, ensuring they're fully integrated into the client's business operations. Your leadership will be key to fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with both your team and clients.

As a Content Publishing Team Lead, your role is multifaceted. You'll be responsible for proactive planning to ensure seamless daily operations while also managing and nurturing individual team members. From conducting fair and transparent performance reviews to managing leave and handling personnel matters, you'll be the go-to person for your team's well-being and development.

You'll also play a crucial role in recruitment, designing effective induction plans, and cultivating a positive team culture. Your support will extend to Squad Leads, helping manage workflows, capacity planning, and weekly sprint delivery, all while maintaining clear communication with management.
When challenges arise, you'll step in as a problem-solver, handling escalations with calm and providing proactive advice and support. You'll keep a close eye on KPIs and performance targets, always striving for continuous improvement.

Externally, you'll develop strong partnerships with clients, ensuring service excellence and enhancing the capabilities of the Content Publishing team.

Are You Ready to Take the Next Step?

What do we need from you? 

As the new Content Publishing Team Lead in Amsterdam we need from you:

• A BSc or MSc in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience at the account manager level, with a proven track record of successfully leading a team of 10+ people.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and the MS Office suite.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, both within your team and beyond.
• A deep understanding of people management methods and their practical application.
• Excellent English/Dutch communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms like SAP Hybris, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and Drupal is a plus.
• A good grasp of the technology behind the digital marketing mix is advantageous.
