What will be your challenge?

As a Buyer, you will be a vital member of one of our inspiring project teams. You will:

• Procurement Leadership: Oversee the procurement process in collaboration with engineering and production teams, ensuring timely and high-quality supply from involved suppliers.
• Supplier Management: Contract and monitor supplier progress, ensuring accurate execution of orders within deadlines.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve operational and contractual issues with suppliers in close cooperation with the Project Team.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with third parties, fostering trust and collaboration.

What do we ask for?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for excellence. The ideal candidate will have:

• Educational Background: Higher Vocational Education (HBO) with relevant work experience.
• Industry Experience: 2-4 years of experience in the Netherlands, preferably in the maritime or yacht-building industry.
• Key Competencies:

o Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
o A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with teams and suppliers.
o Persuasiveness and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications and Navision.
• Language Proficiency: A good command of both written and spoken English and Dutch.
• Passion for Learning: A desire to grow and develop within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
