Financial Markets Services (FMS) is part of Wholesale Rural (W&R) Global Service Center. Operating from our head office in Utrecht, FMS supports all main Rabobank WR offices globally. FMS is the service provider to Markets and other internal customers like Treasury. The services provided include Transaction Processing, Confirmations, Settlements, Corporate Actions, Collateral Management and Transaction Reporting.
The FMS department focuses on managing a highly efficient process flow whilst managing and minimizing operational risks delivering excellent service to our clients. The department has a well-established and strong position within W&R Global Service Center.

Responsibilities
- The Advisory Specialist FMS receives hierarchical guidance from the Manager Advisory FMS.
- In cooperation with the other team members initiate, develop, and introduce meaningful contributions that will enable FMS to be in control.
- Acting as a specialist putting the long-term interests of our clients and Rabobank first. Showing adequate exemplary behavior and fulfilling an exemplary function when it comes to dissemination of core values and principles of customer Interest central. Acting within the set risk appetite and taking responsibility for the extent to which we Manage risks demonstrably, via risk assessments, control measures and follow-up actions. Stimulating and safeguarding a strong risk culture, awareness of risks and everyone's contribution to risk management and the protection of Rabobank's reputation.
- Ensuring the creation of culture and conditions to function well as a unit; honesty and ethical standards and values in the management and treatment of employees; to follow the HR cycle and the creation of a feedback culture.
With you
Customer focus, communication, initiative, deliver results, organizing & monitoring are essential for the role of Advisory Specialist FMS. It is important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:
- HBO or master's degree or equivalent.
- Analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent English (verbally and in writing).
You have an advantage if you have knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Create, check, and act upon various status reports.
- Understanding of Operations process workflows.
- Experience with control activities, supporting audits.
- LEAN-way of working.
