Your role? As the Product Manager for our test facilities team, you'll orchestrate the self-service portal within GIS-a hub of automated solutions for our DevOps teams. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary squads, you'll tackle backlog items head-on, shaping our strategy and implementing cutting-edge solutions. Stay ahead of the curve by tracking trends in digitalization, robotics, and high-tech developments.

You and your job

We are looking for a Product Manager for whom working agile is a given nature and taking the  lead is second nature. In this position, together with your squad, you are the driving force behind our journey to give our engineers the best insights into the availability, performance, and security of their applications. Generic Infrastructure Services is responsible for the IBM Mainframe and HPE NonStop environment that allow some of our core applications to function as expected. Within GIS we have a position available as Product Manager who will lead the test facilities team and will be responsible for the self service portal GIS that provides automated solutions for Dev/Ops teams.

Together with Tech Leads, Solution Architects and Engineers, you set out the path for the short and long-term goals and objectives for squads to achieve. Excellent skills in speech and writing are essential in your communication with stakeholders, together with strong analytical skills.

  • Leading multi-disciplinary squads and together drive the completion of backlog items

You and your talent

Collaboration, Agility, Complex Problem Solving and Judgement & decision making, are clearly essential for the role of Product Manager. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below: 

  • Academic thinking and working level 
  • Experience with initiating, managing and implementing complex products within a large corporate with multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Being able to act in politically sensitive and complex environments with different business partners at diverse levels. 
  • Basic knowledge of application and or security monitoring would be an advantage. 
  • Strong consulting skills; excellent presentation and advisory skills.

In addition, with us (based on a 36-hour working week), you can also expect:

  • a gross monthly salary between €3.711 and €6.130 gross per month (scale 8-9, depending on your experience, skills and knowledge, 36 hours per week).
  • 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
  • an Employee Benefit Budget of 10% of your gross salary. You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash payout.
  • a personal budget of €1.400 that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career.
  • Flexibility when it comes to location-independent working or at the office.
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
  • Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
  • Compensation for on-call duty/consignment after business hours, holidays and in the weekends.
