As our Tech Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. With seven years (or more!) of relevant experience, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. You'll lead our Tech Team and serve as the bridge with the broader business, ensuring that our technology solutions align with our strategic objectives and deliver maximum value to our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Technical Leadership

  : Provide vision, guidance, and mentorship to our team of developers, leveraging your extensive experience to drive excellence in software development;

• Business Alignment

  : Serve as the primary sparring partner for our CTO, collaborating closely to define our technical architecture and ensure that it supports our business goals;

• Programming Proficiency

  : Utilize your programming skills to lead the development of new features and enhancements for our platform;

• Database Expertise

  : Leverage your knowledge to design and optimize database schemas and queries, ensuring the reliability and performance of our data solutions;

• Peer review

  : Be able to peer review on Mendix, providing valuable feedback and guidance to our development team as they work with the platform;

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  : Work closely with Product Owner, Implementation manager, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive the successful delivery of our roadmap.

What we're looking for:

• Relevant Experience

  : Seven years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of success in a similar role;

• Completed Education

  : Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;

• Strategic Thinker

  : A strategic mindset with the ability to understand complex business challenges and translate them into actionable technical solutions;

• Startup Mindset

  : A passion for startups and a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability and innovation are key;

• Programming Proficiency

  : You have a strong proficiency in multiple programming languages and are able to distinguish their relative strong points and weaknesses related to different problems. You're proficient in at least one of the following languages: Python, C#, Java, Go or Dart. You have the ability to lead development efforts across multiple programming languages;

• Database Knowledge

  : Extensive experience with SQL and PostgreSQL, including database design, optimization, and maintenance;

• Mendix Knowledge

  : Familiarity with Mendix and having the ability to provide peer reviews and guidance on the platform;

• Effective Communication

  : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;

• A background related to Artificial Intelligence

  : Experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence is a definitive plus, as we explore innovative ways this exciting technology helps to enhance our platform's capabilities.

Wat bieden wij

For the role of Tech Lead, we expect a lot from you, but of course, there's something in it for you too:

• A competitive salary ranging from €5000 to €6500 gross per month;
• A good travel expenses scheme of €0.23 per km (minimum 10 km one way. No maximum);
• Plenty of leisure time, including 20 statutory leave days, 8 extra-statutory leave days, and 6 ADV days (all on a full-time basis);
