Purpose of the role:
This role will bridge the worlds of claims management and process improvement, we are looking for experts who can drive continuous optimization, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the claims function within DHL.It is a crucial role in overseeing the IRM (Insurance and Risk Management) claims handling service offering in the Mainland Europe.Job responsibilities:
- Oversee the IRM (Insurance Risk Management) claims handling services in the region (Mainland Europe).
- Provide strategic leadership and drive Continuous Improvement and optimization initiatives.
- Managing escalated claims, this will involve liaising with various stakeholders such as BU management, lawyers, loss adjusters, and insurance underwriting functions to ensure effective resolution.
- Lead, direct, develop, and motivate the claims staff in the region. Fostering a culture of quality, services.
Job requirements:
- 10+yrs of experience in strategic thinking, leadership abilities, and expertise in corporate claims management.
- Experience in remodeling claims function.
- Good understanding of underwriting and risk management.
- Proficiency in Business Process Optimization (BPO).
- Good business acumen and cross-border thinking.
