In this role you will report to the Head of Marketing & Analytics in the product tribe Investments, in a team consisting of marketeers, data analysts and CX specialists.
Your role & responsibilities
As a Marketing Customer Journey Expert, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that build brand awareness, educate customers, and generate leads or sales. Besides your product tribe colleagues, you will work closely with departments like Brand Marketing and Communications, Private Banking and external parties like creative and media agencies.
Your key responsibilities include:
Branding:
- Brand management of all communications channels on- and off-line
- Analyze data on brand performance and reputation to gather insights and define actions
Content Strategy, Creation, and Distribution:
- Define and implement an on- and off-line content strategy supporting Investments's marketing goals (focused on customer education, growth and sustainability)
- Generate hypotheses for how to drive growth through (content) marketing, and work with the Growth team to prioritize and execute growth experiments
- Create and distribute high-quality and relevant content that attracts, engages, and converts the target audience. Write short-form content, and collaborate with others on other formats (e.g. Articles, whitepapers, videos, podcasts)
- Lead coordination of content distribution across channels such as email, web, app, social media, and paid media.
- Direct control over owned channels (eg. E-mail, app, podcasts) and key contributor to website/SEO and paid channels (media, social, SEA)
Campaigning and Budgeting:
- Gather growth strategy input from colleagues to inform Awareness strategy
- Together with UX and communications experts, initiate market research to track our performance and compare to competitors
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing & Communications to plan and execute creative marketing campaigns that raise awareness/interest in ING's Investments offerings
- Provide input to different marketing budget scenarios and decision-making
Sales Enablement:
- Provide sales teams with the necessary product marketing materials, tools, and training to effectively communicate and sell ING's Investments products or services.
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy specific to Investments
- Structure and coordinate efforts to grow relevant ING and colleagues' personal social media accounts/communities on platforms like LinkedIn and YouTube
What you will bring
- Marketing skills: Experience developing and executing marketing strategies with a focus on online channels (web, app, social, SEA, SEO, etc.) and covering the full marketing funnel (seethink-do-care)
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to solving complex marketing challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure data accuracy and rigor in analysis.
- Storytelling & communication: Create compelling storylines around growth opportunities and use these to engage and mobilize stakeholders to take action.
- Bonus - content creation skills: Experience in creating content yourself (esp. Written) and working with others to create video, audio and other formats.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, brand marketing, performance marketing, or related roles.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., marketing, digital marketing, communication, business).
- Experience with performance marketing, CRM.
- Familiarity with financial services or banking/investment products is advantageous.
- Track record of driving business growth through data
