IT Field Engineer

Amsterdam | Fulltime  

As an IT Field Engineer, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the smooth operation of our technology across our network of fitness clubs and wellness locations throughout the Netherlands. Based at our bustling Amsterdam HQ, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch IT support. Your role will involve traveling to various gym locations, troubleshooting issues, managing hardware and software, and ensuring exceptional customer service for our on-site teams. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide hands-on technical support for fitness clubs and wellness locations, addressing hardware, software, and network issues directly on-site. 
• Collaborate with IT colleagues to manage and maintain infrastructure, including networks, access controls, and displays. 
• Efficiently handle incoming requests and incidents using IT service management tools. 
• Manage the IT lifecycle for staff, ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding procedures. 
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and provide expert audio/visual support during special events. 
• Contribute to IT knowledge-sharing by documenting and reviewing standard operating procedures. 

 

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in IT Technical Support or Engineering. 
• Proficiency in user onboarding/offboarding in fast-paced environments. 
• Interest in developing skills in IT networks management. 
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and security principles. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide a youthful workforce. 
• Proficient in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• Willingness to travel nationally and potentially internationally.
