As Tech Lead Housing Mortgage Criteria & Management (MCM), you help to proactively realize IT processes relevant to both special asset management, proactive servicing and at the same time be a strategic sparring partner in the Area Leadership team of Mortgage Criteria & Management (MC&M). Also you are part of the Tech Domain MT Housing in which you are involved in technical, organizational, but certainly also human aspects of the field.
The Area MC&M aims to assist customers with (potential) financial problems to become sustainable financially healthy again. Our ambition is to provide sustainable customer value, highly digitally supported with a human touch. From an IT perspective, the ambition is to keep our applications up to date with the latest technologies, while also running the business and being in control of our applications from a risk perspective.
Real-life examples
- Implementing the new business- and systems architecture for SAM;
- Leveraging the low-code capabilities of Pega Cloud, significantly improving the current Pega Collections system, pioneering with Pega Constellation and delivering Java based (integration) components
- Effectively cooperating with other Pega using Tech Domains, e.g. Digital Customer Processes and Business Lending
- Co-leading the Area - based on IT expertise - together with a more experienced Tech Lead;
- Attracting and guiding IT talent within Rabobank;
- You ensure a culture in which psychological safety and continuous curiosity and willingness to learn are central.

Responsibilities
- Tech Domain Housing representative in steering triangle at area level with Area Lead, one other IT Lead, Cluster Leads and Business Architect in the Area Leadership Team;
- Responsible for IT stability and security aspects (compliance with S@S Governance)
- Responsible for development teams with > 15 FTE (the Netherlands, Romania and India) divided over 3 squads; mainly focused on special asset management. Possibility to adopt one more squad in the proactive servicing cluster.
- Develop new software delivery models in collaboration with IT partners;
- Proactively managing dependencies with other Areas in the Tribe and also other Tribes from content and connection;
- Creating and maintaining a high performance work environment;
- Hiring, developing and retaining top talent in an overheated IT market;
- Facilitating a psychologically safe environment, in which learning and experimentation are central!

You & your talent
- WO or HBO work and thinking level;
- > 5 years of experience in the banking sector;
- > 5 years of experience within the IT environment;
- Experience with delivering under time pressure within an Agile work environment
- Experience with HR activities;
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written;
- Experience with Vendor management and preferably specifically with software / package suppliers;
- You are organizationally strong and know your way around the organization;
- You are organizationally sensitive and therefore able to quickly gain a broad and in-depth insight into the coherence of highly complex and sometimes politically sensitive issues that have a group-wide impact;
- You have experience with change management aspects (stakeholder field, culture, substantive focus area).
- In the MCM environment it would help if a candidate speaks and understands Dutch
