We at Bike Mobility Services Group (BMS) are looking for a new

(Senior) Financial Controller

to support us with financial activities in our operating companies based in Belgium. As a Financial Controller we expect you to bring a proven track record in both monthly and annual accounting & reporting under Dutch GAAP and IFRS.

Your mission

Our businesses are growing. This development affects our current financial processes and has a major impact on our future processes. Within this role, you will make it your mission to work with the Financial Control team and the Financial administration team (based in Stabroek) to further professionalize our way of working. You are responsible for the accounting and reporting of our largest Belgium entity. In addition, you are able to bring the internal processes and controls to an even higher level. In doing so, you focus on quality, risks and controls from a financial perspective. You will further work closely with Management to support decision-making from a financial perspective.

Furthermore you'll be responsible to:

• Ensure correctness, completeness and timeliness of the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting;
• Assist in the development of monthly reporting lines with our new shareholders; and
• Development of new forecasting models to ensure accurate cash and revenue planning and margin optimizations to support operational decision-making.

Wat vragen we van jou

• A minimum of Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration of other relevant Masters studies;
• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in finance, preferably gained at a Big-4 audit firm;
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
• Experience in working with ERP systems as well as automating finance processes is preferred of which a minimum of 5 years experience in finance;
• Business fluent Dutch and English both verbal and written, French is a plus;
• You are willing to travel regularly to our offices. Per week 1x Amersfoort (NL), 1/2x Stabroek (BE). In due time traveling can be arranged flexibly.
