As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be working on the periodic closings, audits and accounting related matters. Accounting knowledge is needed such as: being able to analyze the different balance sheets and P&L statements and drawing valuable conclusions from these analyses. You need to have experience in compiling annual statements, understanding bookkeeping and have a general knowledge of the Dutch GAAP. Besides that, you will be a contact person for all the different departments within Sunrock. They will reach out to you for all their finance related questions. In summary, you will work on:
- Compilation of financial statements;
- Key contact person for the external audits and management of the audit information;
- Support with periodic closings, and internal management reporting;
- Execute and monitor key controls as part of the financial closing process;
- Identify and implement processes, controls and system improvements;
- Assist in implementing the new ERP system in the area of consolidation. ;
- Ensure efficient and accurate design of the financial administration and systems;
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for new projects and business initiatives.

The Finance team
You will be part of our enthusiastic finance team consisting of 3 administrative employees and a teamlead accounting, 2 financial accountants, 5 financial controllers, a business controller, tax manager, Head of Finance & Control and Director of Finance & Control. Within this team, good communication is very important. You will be able to learn a lot from your team members (and of course, they can learn from you). This team will support you to the fullest and give you all the tools that you need to succeed.

Vaardigheden
- 10+ years working experience (audit & accounting) and familiair with Dutch GAAP;
- Experience with consolidation and compiling financial statements, ideally you have experience doing this in a previous life at an accounting and advisory firm.
- Degree in Accounting and Control, Business Economics, or related (RA / ACCA);
- Advanced skills in Excel, experience with Exact Online (or comparable software) and Caseware is a big plus;
- Proactive, analytical, flexible and you love (to create) structure!
