Organization:This international company, based in The Hague, is looking for a Test Engineer to join their DevOps team. The company is active in the online entertainment industry and is growing rapidly. Currently they are seeking for a second test engineer with a couple of years of experience. At the moment the company consists of 60 employees who work together in a great location in the centre of the city. As the main language is English, there is no need for someone to speak the Dutch language. It is considered a plus however.
It is required to have a valid work permit ánd you need to be living in The Hague area!
Job description:As a second test engineer within the DevOps team, you will be responsible for optimizing the overall quality of the software, mainly web, applications. Together with your teammates you will execute both manual and automatic tests. You will be doing e.g. Performance, load and API Testing.
Next to manual testing, you will be automating test scripts with the use of SoapUI as well. There already is a solid basis available and it's your task to expand it even further. DevOps is key and therefore you will be working on CI/CD as well. For this role it is important that you like the technical aspect of testing, that you have some experience in the field of test automation and preferably within DevOps testing / programming as well.
Requirements:- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably within the field of IT
- At least 3 years of experience as a test engineer
- Experience with testing web applications
- Experience with DevOps methods is considered a plus
- You have good soft skills combined with technical abilities
- You master the English language
This is a permanent position within a growing and ambitious international company.
The salary is about 4000 euro gross a month and you will receive additional benefits as well.
