Bond has identified a gap in the market for additive manufacturing functional plastic parts which have the same properties as parts produced with conventional technologies. Bond is therefore developing an FDM printer for printing high performance polymers, initially focusing on PEEK and liquid crystal thermosetting material (LCT). In the vision of Bond, the printing process should be adapted to the properties of the printed material and not the other way around.
