Job Description
- Lead a workshop team of approximately 50 employees and ensure the department meets its targets
- Play an active role in recruiting new team members and continuously developing your team
- Provide technical guidance on repairs, servicing and maintenance, as well as damage diagnostics, and contribute to the introduction of new repair methods
- Use your professional experience to identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership of implementing them in workshop organisation and workplace design
- Carry out internal quality checks and help ensure health and safety in the workshop
- Plan and manage vehicles throughout the entire process
Qualifications
- Completed training as an mechatronics technician; followed by a successfully completed master qualification (KFZ Meister)
- Several years of management experience in a comparable role
- Excellent technical understanding and practical skills
- A responsible, well-organised approach to work, with a genuine enjoyment of guiding and motivating a team
- Very good German skills; English is an advantage, along with confidence using common software applications
