We’re looking for a Country Manager Italy to lead the expansion of our platform to Italy. You will be part of the commercial team, but also closely interact with the founders as well as the data and software teams on all dimensions relevant for the expansion of our product to Italy. You will take ownership of this market by identifying the product needs to win this market, prioritizing them and communicating them in an actionable way to the other teams, while also identifying potential new customers and convincing them to use our web-GIS.
ActivitiesSome of the things you will be working on:
• Understanding product needs by speaking to customers and monitoring changes in regulation
• Translating product needs into actionable tasks for the data and software teams
• Identifying relevant data for developing solar, battery, wind and data center projects in Italy
• Identifying potential new customers and driving the sales process
• Conducting intro, onboarding, update or feedback calls with our customers
• Proactively suggesting and discussing the direction our product will take to win the market
Requirements- 5+ years experience in a similar role, e.g. Project developer, product manager, customer success
- Specialist knowledge of the renewable energy industry in Italy, including:
- Project development process
- Regulation affecting the viability of energy projects
- Sources providing the data to assess viability of energy projects
- Passion for renewable energy project development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian
- Proactive personality with a pragmatic mindset as well as an eye for detail
