The Inside Sales/Service Representative (f/m/d) is responsible for retaining, supporting and growing the commercial service business in their territory as well as defining and driving process improvements in the sale process.
This position reports to the Senior Manager Service and is part of the Service - Field - Engineering team In Germany and will be fully remote. Ideally this person should be working in Krefeld/Dusseldorf but we could also consider a candidate working remotely from Germany.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Contact customers at the expiration of the warranty period to transition them to service maintenance agreements to grow long term business
- Drive process improvements in service contract business including timeliness of renewals, warranty conversion, and selling new services.
- Direct sales of contracts, including pricing and proposals. Work closely with Service Management to identify opportunities, provide leads, and add service agreements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a business to business sales environment, or experience in a related field or industry (e.g. Life science, biomedical, life science)
- Prior telemarketing/inside sales and customer service experience is a plus
- Fluent in German, along with English. Other European Languages (French, Italian) considered a plus.
