For our Douglas Group Technology team in Düsseldorf we are looking for you.
TASKS WITH IMPACT
- Perform test analysis based on business requirements, user stories, and technical designs
- Design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test charters on Web & Mobile
- Identify gaps, risks, and edge cases early in the development lifecycle
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Validate complex eCommerce workflows (e.g., product catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, payments, order management)
- Work closely with QA team, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure testability
- Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis
- Ensure high quality standards in each release through risk-based testing
- Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage and testing efficiency
YOUR SKILLS
- You bring relevant professional experience in quality assurance or software testing, ideally in an e-commerce or large-scale web environment
- Strong knowledge of test analysis and test design techniques enables you to create effective and structured test scenarios
- Experience in testing web applications and APIs is part of your skill set
- Working in agile environments and understanding of development processes is familiar to you
- You are experienced with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Zephyr or comparable solutions
- You bring strong experience in test automation, ideally with Playwright and TypeScript
- Ideally you are experienced with SAP S4/HANA testing (e. G. Tosca)
- Analytical thinking allows you to identify root causes and derive meaningful improvements
- You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders in an international environment
- You have a good command of English; German skills are considered a plus
