Tasks
- You will configure, deploy, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points, in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Aruba, Checkpoint)
- You will develop and enforce network security standards and best practices
- You will perform regular updates, patching, and certificate management for network devices to ensure business continuity
- You will drive network automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual interventions; NAC implementation (Cisco ISE + Aruba switching)
- You will diagnose and resolve complex LAN/WAN/Firewall and wireless issues promptly
- You will conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for network incidents and implement preventive measures
- You will troubleshoot connectivity issues related to firewalls and VPNs
- You will collaborate with other IT Security teams and business units to ensure alignment of infrastructure with security and business requirements
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience operating IP-based network (LAN+WAN)
- At least 5 years of experience on working with wireless networks (Cisco controllers is a plus)
- Practical knowledge of network vendors (Aruba, Cisco)
- 3+ years Cisco ISE hands on experience
- Familiarity with network zone concepts (e.g., DMZ, internal, external, restricted zones)
- Experience in network automation tools and scripting - Python
- Ability to lead technical discussions, make design decisions, and mentor junior staff
- Advanced level of English ( B2-C1), German ( nice to have)
Nice-to-have:
- HP IMC experience
- Exposure to cloud networking and security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
