With Porsche Engineering Romania, we are always actively involved in the projects that you are going to work on, making us the ideal partner. We are currently looking for a DevOps engineer to join the team in Romania for working together with the software engineers on implementing various tasks in projects related to DevOps. In this role, you will collaborate with team members and customers to build complex Continuous Integration systems and contribute with our engineers in the build automation effort. As a team member, you will have to combine software engineering skills with research and innovation skills. We offer the possibility to be responsible for your own topics and drive them to completion together with local and remote colleagues.
- Raising awareness for the DevOps methodology among management and colleagues
- Create, maintain, update and monitor the build environments for various projects running under Windows, Linux
- Developing and improving build tools
- Integrating automated tests in the build environments and generating of test reports
- Offering support for developers regarding the build systems and build tools
- Developing and supporting continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborating with international project teams
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent field of study
- You have 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a similar role
- You have professional experience with Windows, Linux, and Git
- You have experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
- You have a strong understanding of DevOps practices and their impact on software development efficiency
- You have experience working in continuous integration (CI/CD) environments, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
- You have experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- You have experience with the Azure cloud platform
- You have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform
- You have experience with Configuration as Code (CaC) tools, including Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- You have knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, such as Grafana
- You speak English fluently; knowledge of German is considered a plus
- You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
