As a Technical Trainer you will develop, maintain and deliver technical training programs to the Porsche Centre’s, ensuring commercial and operational requirements are always considered.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical and product training across multiple locations using in‑person and digital methods.
- Oversee training delegates and ensure full compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with external technical training partners as required.
- Support the creation and delivery of technical training, including new models, product launches, and recognition/retention programmes.
- Provide competency and skills feedback to Porsche Centres, PRIRs, and other relevant third parties.
- Share technical expertise and training support with internal departments.
- Maintain up‑to‑date Porsche product knowledge and complete required Trainer Qualification and TTT programmes.
- Apply modern training best practices to ensure alignment with Porsche Service Core Process Strategies and Service Quality standards.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and certification data using Porsche systems.
- Review and update course content, support training facility operations, and contribute to annual training planning within budget.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Level 3 Automotive Technical Qualification (e.g., IMI Awards/City & Guilds NVQ or equivalent).
- Proven hands-on industry experience as a qualified automotive technician.
- Strong working knowledge of modern vehicle technologies, diagnostic procedures, and workshop standards.
- Full UK driving license with ability to travel as required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Level 3 (Award in Education and Training) or Level 4 (Certificate in Education and Training) or equivalent.
- High voltage / EV qualification (e.g., IMI L3 EV/Hybrid Systems or OEM equivalent).
- Advanced Diagnostic or Master Technician accreditation
