Join MHP as a Network Engineer Professional and become a key contributor within our dynamic Operations team.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise LAN/WAN environments and a solid background supporting large‑scale data centers. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing the VWGoA network landscape, providing L3 support, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams across server, storage, cloud and security domains.

The technical skills needed are:
- Demonstrable experience creating Python & Ansible automation, with proven track record of using CI/CD development concepts.
- L3 support to resolve VWGoA incidents in support of their infrastructure.
- Perform analysis of VWGoA infrastructure environment and resolve issues/problems accordingly.
- Participate in cross functional technical projects involving server, storage and network.
- Evaluate vendor requirements and provide recommendations (primarily Cisco, Arista, F5, Infoblox, HPE, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Netscout).
- Respond to service requests from VWGoA support groups, vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain documentation of VWGoA environments.
- Coordinate patching/upgrade activities for critical VWGoA Network components.
- Support during the weekend when required for all locations for any issues requiring VWGoA support (on-call rotation).
- Ability to engage team members and coordinate activates and goals.
- Participate with Sr. VWGoA Technicians in project and maintenance duties.
- Develop, Create, Review and Update documentation as required.
- Assist with project coordination and development.
- Maintain the integrity of the VWGoA in accordance with policy and best practices.
- The ability to direct the work of others, while assisting them.
- The demonstrated ability to design and layout network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of the following technologies:
- Cisco switches & routers
- Arista Wireless, Switches & NAC
- Cisco ISE (NAC)
- Cisco Wireless
- NetScout
- F5 Load Balancers
- Infoblox
- Palo Alto Networks Firewall & SDWAN
- Fortinet Firewalls
- Velocloud SDWAN
- The ability and initiative to counsel with upper management on project design and best practice recommendations.
- Knowledgeable in the following software packages: MS Visio, MS Project and MS Office Suite.
Additions Skills
- Troubleshooting issues.
- working on Topics/Projects assigned to team.
- Working with Vendor on support issues.
- Maintain and update Documentation.
- Microcode upgrades for assets.
- Daily Operations.
- Work with other infrastructure teams as needed (Windows/VMware, Unix/Linux, Networking, DBAs…).
- Assist team members with First and Second level ticket.
- Ability to engage team members and coordinate activities and goals.
- Participate with Sr. VWGoA Technicians in project and maintenance duties if needed.
- Review documentation for accuracy.
- Develop documentation as required.
- Assist with project coordination and development if needed.
- Maintain the integrity of the VWGoA in accordance with policy and best practices.
- The demonstrated ability to troubleshoot with end users.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3-7 years’ experience in an Enterprise Infrastructure Environment.
- Efficient in scripting.
- Ability to self-direct and work independently as required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Technical and Non-Technical).
- Extremely "Detail Oriented" individual with the ability to multitask.
- Positive mental attitude, solution architect, team player.
- Effective communications in English.
Education:
- CCIE Route / Switch or CCIE Service Provider, or multiple Cisco CCNP certifications.
- Completion of a bachelor's degree with course work in computer science, or equivalent work experience in the industry.
