The Service Technician is responsible for providing specialized service and repair support for medical technology capital equipment.
This position is part of the Global Service Organization in Quickborn/Hamburg and will be onsite.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Diagnose and repair medical devices
- Complete the relevant documentation and update the MRP system for work performed
- Carry out all tasks in accordance with established procedures and legal regulations
- Perform the decontamination of incoming capital equipment
- Assist with assigned ancillary tasks and projects, continuously providing constructive feedback for process improvement
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Electrical or mechanical training
- Several years of experience in repairing electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral in English and German
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel approximately 10% with a mix of domestic and international
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience in service and repair of medical devices
- Experience in a service/manufacturing environment
