Tasks
- Leading team management and development by technical competence development and resource distribution including hiring and allocation of engineers into responsible functions
- Leading team people management, incl. Team member goal setting and annual dialogue, people development, training, hiring, etc
- Acting as lead of Infotainment and Connect validation competence development according to department roadmap, incl. Validation method continuous improvement, test coverage, validation strategy, etc
- Leading Infotainment and Connect project testing execution, including resource planning, test execution tracking, results delivery with quality, Lessons Learned to ensure customer project success
- Active engagement of testing project acquisition and service deliverable with customer centricity
- Promoting optimization of testing processes and acquisition of new projects with global synergy
- Take actively part in international collaboration with other subsidiaries and test teams to align test processes, tooling and collaboration methods within the area Infotainment and Connect testing
- Other tasks assigned by manager from time to time
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, technical computer science or similar
- At least 8 years of practical experience in In Vehicle Infotainment system development, including at least 3 years of team management experience
- Professional knowledge for all IVI feature design, incl. Navigation, Media, Digital Speech, etc. To support Validation activities
- Deep understanding of connected car business, from technical architecture to the whole eco-system
- Profound knowledge of system architecture, web based / cloud services, and related technology, and whole chain until backend V&V
- Good knowledge of the vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, Flexray, OABR ....) and their communication protocols
- Good knowledge of vehicle network topology, on-board diagnostic, as well as experience with HIL systems, test benches, test automation framework and whole vehicle as system under test
- Practical project experience with common V&V development methods (ASPICE, ISTQB) as well as tools (like Confluence, Jira), popular development process e.g. Agile, ISTQB Certified Test Manager (advanced level) is a plus
- Basic understanding of AI application in testing field
- Driving license
- Language skills: Chinese and English spoken and written, German is a plus
- Willingness to travel, both domestic and international
