Tasks
- Your area of responsibility consists of management of functional safety according to ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 for one or more items, including planning, organization of activities and regular reporting such as creation and agreement of the safety plan, reporting/escalation, conclusion of the safe case and preparation of release recommendations
- You moderate hazard analyses and risk assessments as well as further safety analyses for electronic systems such as chassis systems, ADAS, battery systems
- You execute impact analyses and reviews of carry-over projects, tailoring of processes and definition of changes for example modification of safety concepts, re-agreement and refinement of requirements
- You monitor suppliers in the context of Functional Safety such as scope agreement, DIA, self-assessment rating, review of work products and processes
- You prepare test plans and specifications based on criteria resulting from the safety concepts
- You support and/or review hardware and software safety integrity in accordance to ISO 26262-5 and ISO 26262-6
- Collaborating with international project teams
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with technical focus in Information Technologies, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering or in a relevant related field
- Your knowledge of SOTIF, such as ISO/PAS 21448 is an advantage
- You have good knowledge of Functional Safety, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508 or other related standards
- You have experience with failure analysis methodologies, such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA
- Your working experience with V-model development and software quality management such as ASPICE is an advantage
- Your previous working experience in the field of automotive electronics for example control units, buses, communication interfaces and protocols, diagnosis, AUTOSAR is an advantage
- You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
- You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
