Senior Learning Manager (all genders)

Your Role: This position is a newly created position within the Life Science BioProcessing organization. You will be part of the Business Performance organization integrating the Training & Capability planning team. In your role as Senior Learning Manager, you will foster people development by defining training strategy for all the business functions of the growing Bioprocessing organization (representing 3 billion of business & 750 of employees globally based). You will be expected to design and deliver training programs, identifying capability gaps of the organization, and creating training strategy for the BioProcessing Planning unit. You will have to engage with all BioProcessing employees, influence at all levels of the organization to drive consistent innovating education offerings and piloting new technologies to support development of the employees in alignment with our People Roadmap. You utilize recognized adult learning methodologies to create learning opportunities and collaborate in a team environment to drive a continuous learning culture and engage with Instructional Designers to assist with development/review of training material. You define measurable learning objectives, scenarios, simulations, progress checks, desired outcomes, including performance evaluations, testing and assessments. You craft blended delivery approaches for different learning styles and maximum retention of knowledge. You coordinate with the Training coordinator/admin the upload, the tests and maintenance of content in the Learning Management System (LMS) and lead efforts for continuous improvement of instructional design and conduct training needs analysis as needed. You develop and executes annual BioProcessing Business Capability Gap Analysis and Training strategy. You ensure that trainings are executed according to the needs and schedule of the organization, which are reviewed with Management on a regular basis and adjusted where necessary.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master degree / MBA is a plus
  • 5 years min of experience in customer training and/or employee education, content development in the Biopharma/Biotech space
  • 5 years min of experience in working in a cross-functional matrix environment. 3 years min of Project Management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the internal organization as well as with key external stakeholders
  • Team player with strong drive for creating an excellent learning environment where great learner experience is the standard.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to multi-task on a regular basis
  • Energetic and engaged team member and implementer of change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a passion for creativity
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications and LMS.
  • Excellent English (Written and Verbal)
