- develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market share, considering short-term and long-term objectives
- conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends within the automotive electronics industry
- prepare and present compelling business proposals, outlining value propositions and negotiating terms to secure new business opportunities
- develop a 5+ years plan defining innovation opportunities in line with the strategy and customer roadmaps
- drive sustainability by deriving concrete innovation areas to address the sustainability challenges and needs of the customers
- build and nurture relationships with customers and external partners, understanding their needs and providing tailor-made support to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, application engineering and product development, to align business strategies and achieve collective goals
- support sales by providing guidance and tactics for targeting specific applications and customers
- University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Business Administration or similar
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the automotive or electronics (preferably automotive electronics) industry
- Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly
- Fluent English and ideally German language skills for effective interaction with customers and internal stakeholders
