Insecticides Issues Management (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategies to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues to ensure the sustainability of the global insecticide portfolio by working cross functionally to identify, mitigate and manage issues related to the portfolio
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams for emerging issues within the insecticide portfolio
  • Direct cross-functional projects as needed to ensure coordinated communications, regulatory, and broader strategies to ensure a rational, science-based outcomes on key business priorities
  • Steer communications strategy and external strategic support in alignment with business objectives and company positions
  • Oversee development and deployment of tools to support Public Affairs, Science & Sustainability (PASS) and relevant stakeholder engagement and lead external and industry engagements as needed
  • Design and execute external strategies that can help educate the public, civil society and other key stakeholders in a proactive manner about the benefits, necessity and safety of insecticides, and in particular neonicotinoids
  • In partnership with relevant PASS leads, develop and implement a holistic plan for the future of neonicotinoids in Europe and the United States
  • Launch and execute other strategies as needed in coordination with the Global Issues Management Lead and Global PASS Policy Lead

WHO YOU ARE

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant field (scientific, legal, communications, business, etc.) with long-term experience in public affairs, communications or related fields
  • Demonstrated excellence in leading teams to manage complex and enterprise critical matters with strong communication, project and time management skills and experience
  • In-depth knowledge that enables to identify emerging policy or legal trends
  • Ability to closely align and cooperate with senior-level teams
  • Engage in driving emerging issues and create compelling, novel strategies to win
  • Excellent advocacy, communications - and presentation skills
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
