The Process Research and Chemical Engineering Research Division brings together a variety of competencies, including inorganic chemistry, organic synthesis, battery research, catalysis, process development and technology, as well as technical services for laboratories/technical centers. In interdisciplinary global teams, we develop innovative products, processes and technologies for a sustainable future and work with internal and external customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In our research department Process Catalysis R&D we
develop new catalytic materials as well as technologies to optimize existing heterogeneous catalysts for industrial scale processes.

  • As Senior Labteamleader you lead the scale-up of novel catalysts and support the implementation of new catalyst manufacturing technologies.
  • You work closely with the key stakeholders in manufacturing, research, process technology and product marketing.
  • Furthermore, you are the point of contact in the catalyst R&D community for selected manufacturing technologies of heterogeneous catalysts.
  • As technical advisor, you support the catalyst manufacturing organization in troubleshooting and asset optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD or Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • Knowledge in catalyst or solid inorganics synthesis
  • At least five years of work experience in a relevant field
  • Specific knowledge in catalyst scale up is a plus
  • Proven track record of managing projects
  • Very good English and good German language skills
