  • Work together with internal experts & external partners on assembly & disassembly processes of new battery system designs for automotive
  • Understanding the battery material needs on all levels Include state-of-the-art & future battery technology into the design considerations predicting material needs of the batteries for tomorrow
  • Develop a product roadmap incl. preparation of product specifications in cross functional teams for assembly & protection of batteries
  • Establish network with OEM design centers, research institutes & execute advanced battery design projects
  • Read and review technology proceedings and papers to broaden knowledge, project future trends, and propose directions in battery system technology development
  • Master or PhD in mechanical engineer, process engineer, Physics or similar
  • Profound knowledge in the areas of battery system designs incl. battery cells, cell components and battery materials
  • Strong technical expert with several years of industry and/or research experience in batteries. Ideally in automotive and/or aerospace
  • Broad knowledge of current state of the art battery designs, materials, cell performance, cost and trends in research & development
  • Experience with battery simulation and relevant tools for design & simulation in automotive
  • Ability to take the initiative and high degree of flexibility
  • Above-average team spirit and enjoyment in an agile working environment
  • Fluent English language skills, German would be a plus
